Key Benefits

What an integrated energy system delivers that installers cannot

001

Single-Point Accountability

One contract. One team. No finger-pointing between your engineering firm, equipment vendor, and installation contractor. We own every outcome from the first site visit to the final interconnection agreement.

002

Incentive Maximization

We identify and structure every available federal, state, and utility incentive, including the 30% ITC, MACRS depreciation, USDA REAP grants, and utility rebate programs, before you sign a contract, not after.

003

Cost Certainty

Lump-sum EPC pricing with competitive procurement built in. We run RFPs across our vetted vendor network to secure market-best hardware and labor pricing, and that cost stays fixed once contracted.

004

Schedule Control

Integrated engineering and construction teams mean no handoff delays. We compress timelines without cutting corners, and we put that schedule commitment in writing before breaking ground.

005

Southeast Regulatory Expertise

We know Georgia Power, Duke Energy Progress, and Southeast utility interconnection processes from the inside. That knowledge compresses your timeline by weeks and protects your project from regulatory surprises.

006

Long-Term Performance

We commission with full performance validation and provide ongoing monitoring, maintenance scheduling, and performance reporting, so your system delivers exactly what we promised for its entire operating life.

Renewable Energy Solutions

Every technology we deploy

Most EPC firms stop at solar. We cover the full spectrum of renewable technologies, so your strategy is built around what’s actually right for your situation, not what a firm happens to sell.

  • Rooftop and ground-mount solar PV system installation

    Rooftop, Ground-Mount & Carport Solar

Commercial and industrial solar PV is our core capability. We design and build rooftop, ground-mount, and carport solar systems for commercial properties, government facilities, school campuses, and utility-scale deployments. Every system is engineered to your site’s specific load profile, roof or ground conditions, and interconnection requirements, sized to maximize the value you capture from the ITC, MACRS, and utility incentive programs.

    • Commercial & industrial rooftop solar PV
    • Ground-mount utility and community solar
    • Solar carport and shade structure systems
    • Multi-site portfolio solar deployments
    • Performance monitoring & O&M
  • Battery Storage

Commercial battery energy storage system for solar integration

    Battery Energy Storage

Store More. Depend Less. Control Everything.

Battery storage transforms a solar system from a daytime generator into a round-the-clock energy asset. We design, procure, and install commercial-scale BESS solutions that reduce demand charges, provide backup power during outages, and enable peak shaving strategies that dramatically improve your ROI.

    • Behind-the-meter battery storage
    • Demand charge reduction & peak shaving
    • Backup and resilience power systems
    • Solar + storage hybrid configurations
    • Utility-scale BESS integration

    EV Charging Infrastructure

Fleet-Ready EV Charging at Any Scale

The shift to electric vehicles is accelerating across every industry. We design and install Level 2 and DC fast charging infrastructure for commercial facilities, municipal fleets, multifamily properties, and public deployments, fully integrated with your existing electrical systems and, where applicable, your solar and storage assets.

    • Level 2 & DC fast charge station installation
    • Fleet electrification planning & infrastructure
    • Parking facility & multifamily EV build-outs
    • Solar-powered EV charging integration
    • NEVI and utility incentive program support
  • Agrovoltaic solar installation over active farmland

    Agrovoltaics

    Solar & Agriculture, Working Together

Agrovoltaic systems co-locate solar energy production with active agricultural land use, generating revenue from both electricity and crops on the same footprint. We engineer dual-use installations optimized for your specific crop types, soil conditions, and solar resource, helping landowners and farmers unlock new income streams without sacrificing productivity.

    • Dual-use solar & crop production systems
    • Pollinator-friendly and grazing configurations
    • USDA REAP grant-eligible project structuring
    • Rural land lease & landowner development
    • Agrovoltaic feasibility & yield modeling
  • Wind turbines generating renewable energy on a commercial site

    Wind Energy

    Small & Mid-Scale Wind Development

Wind energy is a powerful complement to solar in high-resource regions, providing generation during hours and seasons when solar underperforms. We assess, engineer, and develop small to mid-scale wind installations for agricultural, industrial, and community applications, often paired with storage to create fully dispatchable clean energy systems.

    • Wind resource assessment & feasibility
    • Small & mid-scale turbine installation
    • Wind + solar hybrid system design
    • Community wind project development
    • Interconnection & permitting support
  • Hydropower facility for clean and sustainable energy generation

    Hydropower

    Run-of-River & Small Hydro Systems

For sites with consistent water resources, small hydropower delivers some of the most reliable and lowest-cost renewable generation available. We evaluate, design, and develop run-of-river and small hydro installations for agricultural operations, remote facilities, and community power projects, providing 24/7 baseload clean energy without the variability of wind or solar.

    • Run-of-river hydropower feasibility
    • Small hydro system design & engineering

    • Off-grid & remote community applications
    • Hydro + solar + storage hybrid systems
Our Process

How we deliver phase by phase

Six phases. Full accountability at every step. Here is exactly what you receive when The Black Table manages your renewable energy project from start to finish.

01
Engineering & Design

Full site assessment, solar resource analysis, and load profile review. Our engineering team develops detailed PV system design, single-line diagrams, structural loading analysis, and interconnection plans. All design documentation is stamped by licensed engineers and submitted to your AHJ and utility for approval. We resolve design issues before construction, not during it.

02
Permitting & Regulatory

We manage the full permitting process: building permits, electrical permits, utility interconnection applications, and any environmental or zoning approvals required. We have direct relationships with Georgia Power and most Southeast utilities, which accelerates interconnection timelines significantly. You never wait on a permit and wonder what is happening. We track it and push when review stalls.

03
Procurement

We run competitive RFPs across our vetted network of hardware vendors, mounting system manufacturers, and equipment distributors. We source Tier 1 panels, inverters, and racking at competitive pricing, and we manage all logistics, delivery scheduling, and quality inspection at the point of arrival. No substitutions. No surprise hardware changes after contract.

04
Construction & Installation

Site mobilization, mounting system installation, module installation, electrical wiring, inverter installation, and utility metering. We maintain an active OSHA-compliant safety management program on every site and provide weekly progress reporting throughout construction. Our crew does not leave a site until the work is right, not just done.

05
Commissioning & Handover

Full performance testing before handover: IV curve testing, thermal imaging, string-level verification, and grid interconnection testing. We deliver a complete commissioning report, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation. We do not hand over a system we would not put our name on publicly.

06
Post-Handover Support

Our relationship does not end at handover. We offer ongoing monitoring packages, annual performance reviews, preventive maintenance scheduling, and Repower & Recover warranty support for systems impacted by extreme weather or natural disasters. When your system underperforms, we find out before you do and we tell you what we are doing about it.
